The blog is simple - just putting up pictures and small little snippets about the stuff that me or my wife make during our time in Abu Dhabi (and possibly elsewhere depending on where God takes us). It's also, for me, a sort of marriage blog - to remind me of God's blessing of marriage.
So here we go! This Saturday is Al Isra' Wal Miraj. Her company gave her this past Thursday off so she decided to bake a carrot cake (we both love cream cheese icing and carrot cake). Check it out below! It is incredibly tasty.
My suggestions for improvements next time are to use real cream cheese (instead of light), more oil, more sugar, and to slice the cake in half and insert icing in between the cake (so it's more moist). But beggars can't be choosers - I'll take whatever kind of home-made carrot cake I can.
